Spreading happiness by engaging with communities

A few months ago, the wood sculptor Luciano Preza and myself started planning something that we could do together with all the people who wanted to collaborate.

At that time, we were already supporting Alianza Anticancer Infantil, who help children who are diagnosed with cancer. They support with treatment, food, home, and everything that the families may need.

Trying to connect and putting both great initiatives together, Luciano and I realized it was a good time to make something for the community, something where they could actually engage and collaborate in order to build something together.

We talked to Alianza Anticancer and agreed to build a 4 meter christmas tree with 2,000 handmade sculptures which people would be able to decorate, paint, sculpt or do whatever they want in order to imprint their dreams, ideas, good wishes, values and any positive thing they want to share to the world.

Yesterday we started communicating through social media, and it reached more than 100 people asking for more than 700 pieces.. and that has been in less than 24 hours.

I am so excited to see how this goes, and how this amazing project turns into a great collaboration from a large community who is willing to help, collaborate, share and enjoy.

People love helping.

People love collaborating.

People love sharing.

People want to be part of something great.

I invite you guys to encourage other people to be creative, to participate, to collaborate and be part of great things.
